I am currently doing trackdays on my rr5 road bike. I want to upgrade mainly to get a slipper clutch as I am locking my back wheel changing down, which is pretty scary on some corners. So want to know for sure rr8s have one?

Yes they all do from 08 onwards its a dual action slipper clutch but as Marty eludes to nothing can overcome a wrist full of throttle and dumping the clutch on a sloppy down blip ;)

Thanks everyone, couldn't find the vid of the crash but I am new. I'm sure at my speed a slipper clutch would help me a lot. I don't even do that down shift throttle blipping

if your happy with your bike, just fork out the 450 for a STM slipper, and when you come to sell your bike, take it out,you wont lose money on them as they hold thier value at around that, and will for a few yrs to come.

other reasons your locking up the rear is you're releasing the clutch to fast, try feathering it in a bit before,or scrub more speed off before changing down,or learn to blip,or get a slipper ;).
