The 61 year old blind man who was hit by a Tazer? 'I thought I was going to die': Blind man who was shot with a 50,000-volt Taser stun gun by police launches compensation bid - Home News - UK - The Independent On Saturday I went up to Chorley where I met with the chap, Colin Farmer and we as a firm and in particular my colleague Sophie Khan are now handling the case against the Police. Real nice guy, and when you speak to him first hand, the story is even more horrendous.
No WAY! A walking stick for a sword!!! Thank god he did'nt have a real gun..I mean...no joking but was he trigger happy or what!? And whats more he cant see its a stick from the tazer range, not like hes a mile away on the end of a scope?
I read that story when it happened, and find it unfathomable... I too thought there must be something more to the story... I mean, how the f&*% do you confuse a stick for a samurai sword?!?
I saw it on tv and in the news ,Things like this should not happen with modern training and of course ''Risk assessments '' Q Is he a risk ? A no ,Therfore dont Tazer the poor old bugger ,it really is that easy!.
