Just wondering if any of you like to go karting in your spare time, i have been a couple of times now and getting a bit addicted to it now Im 4th on the grid, ended up 5th in this race as i spun on the first lap and was 3rd from last after the first lap so not bad when there was 25 karts in the race
I looked forward to going proper (not seaside) karting for so long and when I finally got around to it I was sooooooooooo crap, I've never been again out of embarrassment.
We go for Birthdays mainly . 8odd of us book in for a GP . Winners get trophies and a podium finish Great fun and surprisingly hard on your body . Love it
i wasnt that good when i first went ken but have improved quite a lot since then, as all the karts are equal its really good to see who can drive and who cant, Dan - some of the bruising i have come away with on my lower back is unreal, the day after is never good lol
Electric karts are better for me, we did one last year 28 racers in a GP I came second I was well chuffed
bet you were, i like doing the iron man race personally as then you get a good 30 mins of solid racing, this stops people driving like idiots as they know its not just a quick few lap dash
Never heard of electric karts before. Id be well up for a go on them. We do a yearly gp company competition in the work, and last year I came in second overall, only after getting t-boned Never even stayed to the end I was that mad The competitive side came out of me.
Love it!! Went for first time at Buckmore park and came in 7th out of 20.The guys i went with invited me and came in 2nd 3rd and 4th.All of them overtook me and were gone.Found out later that they were regulars and my timing was pretty good for a first timer. Will be going again this month.
It wasnt untill the 3rd time i went i was happy with the lap times i was setting. booked in again next month and looking to bring back a trophy
