Does anyone on here know a lot about steel frame CBR600's?

I need to know which (if any) brake master cylinders i can put on it to improve braking, which calipers will bolt straight on, airbox mods, stuff that ex (and current) Steeley Frame racers and other knowledgeable chaps may know about improving an already good bike with bits of modern kit.

Anyone know of a good CBR6 site.

I've still got the Blade by the way.

Please don't regard this as spam.

    A good cbr6 site is www.bikersoracle.com/cbr600

You will find me on there.

What modle you got? If its pre 95 so a 94 modle f2 or earlier you can fit the later shock with the remote res of an f3 (fs,ft,fv,fw) you will need the pillion pegs as well to mount the res.

This increases the rear hight improving turn in and gives greater adjustment.

Before the blade I was riding a 97 cbr6 steelie. Great little bike.

Yeah i've tried to get registered on there but i cant seem to get the registration validation email through to me, i've had to set up another email account coz it says that my email address is in use on another forum, well, i'm registered on the Bikers Oracle site so that would explain that. It seems stupid that i have to set up another address just so i can register. I've emailed them and asked if they can re send it with no luck as yet.

My bike is a '96 so that would be a FS? The first of the F3's?

The VIN plate shows the PC31A code.

A 96 bike could be a late fs or an ft.

They are both exactly the same bike anyway, no changes happened between 95 and 96.

They have just had problems with the server, all should be sorted now though. Could explain your problem registering?
