I scraped my lefthand mirror against wall. The price of a Genuine Honda indicator/mirror assembly is silly I have to replace the plastic parts on the indicator/mirror stock on my 2013 Fireblade. I rang Honda and the plastic bits are only £50 so going that way I have taken off bike and broken it down, all great, but the mirror is connected to the upper plastic half of the assembly, i see it is connected by a small screw but its difficult to rotate the mirror and im afraid i might break it? Any ideas? I dont think the dealer quoted me for plastic with a mirror? Experience tells me mirrors cost! Any info appreciated
Not 100% where you are with the strip down, but when you buy the mirror arm you get the metal assembly complete including the mirror glass and upper plastic surround (ie rider facing side) the mirror glass is not a separate purchasable part, the outer plastic cover, ie the indicator lens (forward facing side) is a separate part, as is the pcb for the led running lights.
