My mate on another forum asked this question! Can anyone with a 2008 to 2011 blade tell me if their rear shock gets hot after riding, as after riding my bike and checking it over after the main shock body is hot thanks?
Yeah they do mate. They're sheltered, behind a hot engine and not far from the exhaust, not to mention being worked the whole time.
Your shocks is a damper. Dampers work by changing Kenetic energy (movement) into heat energy... So they get hot, the hotter they get the faster you are ha ha ha !
