the good thing about that is that you wont get many racer boys there as most bikes with aftermarket zorts on will struggle to get through noise testing. i wonder what the actuall noise level is as they dont do static tests at donny just fly by's (oulton is something like 85db fly by on a static 102db limit day)

get a folding 1,makes the easier to store out the way.ghost bikes are quite good,they have some good kit at decent prices,thier little shop isn't in the nicest part of preston mind just aswell they most of thier stuff on line,not that i'm a snob or owt
yep - next day delivery for Ghost bikes for a folding one - should be a good day weather permitting - have wet front wheel and BT023 touring tyre on rear which is ideal in wet
Cheers, was trying to be optimistic! - I have a spare rear wheel but internal collar is wrong so sprocket carrier wont sit flush = while wont fit in bike - annoying but will sort some time.
How many sessions do you get with Focused Events at Donnington park guys? Quite tempted - just cautious about the noise limit.
This one is a four group deal.....15min sessions..... See you there !! a road exhaust (Legal) with baffle or DB buster should do....... some dedicated track or race bikes do struggle making the 98db though so be careful if using the latter...... but theres normally advise and help on the day.....Allow £30.00 for a db buster to be fitted by them though......
Keep an eye out for metalic dark grey 62 plate VW Transporter van with lots of 'ENTERPRISE' Van rental stickers on it - White fairing GSXR with dark blue tank. Hope to see a few there

While my track bike is 'cool' its noway near as flash as that - my mate also using it in novice / low inters if they have 2 inters groups (keep tyres warm!) Sure I'll spot your bike
Let us know how the various standard and aftermarket exhaust equipped bikes get on with the noise testing today. My one and only quiet (98db) day there had me black flagged with a full standard system on my previous trackbike, a GSXR750Y.
Well I'm here now with standard carbon Akro.... Not been black flagged But it's all over for my mate !
They ve been coming off thick and fast today.... But fair play to Focused Events And track staff for keeping things moving.....
Well i left early but got my times down to just below the two mintue mark...... 1 58 was my best..........(still a long way to go) but considering the temperture im reasonably happy !!
