Hmmmm if I can get my shock in then I might be tempted. I havnt ridden the suzuki since Pembrey last September. Do you know a good place to get the suspension setup Simon
Hmmm. Got my track bike today (pics to follow). 2 questions, how much? And are you trailering? (i ask the last question as i hired the one from Portland Towing and they have gone down to a single and sold the twin, but its still £30 per day
It's £155 for full day, that's 7 sessions, me and Paul (mille) will be taking his trailer as its a double
Ouch, that's £185 for me then Gonna look at buying a trailer (not that I've got enough room to store one) and maybe get on at Cadwell. I've still got some time to spend on the track bike (and possibly money) as I test rode it and it's scary not having a steering damper, not sure I can get used to it. Just doing pics in the Racing/Bike section now.
Paul pays that as he rents tyre warmers too It's not a bad price for 2 hours 20 mins on awesome track and noisy lol, but a baffle days is only 109 I think and Caldwell about 95 but no electric for my warmers so would need a genny
Just looked at the info on their site to get an idea of alternatives. It seems that a regular day at Donnington has a noise limit of 95Db and the noisy day has a limit of 105db with around a £45 price difference, but Cadwell has a noise limit of 105db all the time (possibly as its surrounded by farm land). I just wonder as Cadwell have some evenings available around the £40 mark, if they are a no brainer for a half day with the weather being as it is at the moment. I must consider the noise limit of my bike too though as the can has 97db stamped on it. I dont know how accurate that is, but i'm wondering if i should try to track down a baffle for it just in case.
We will get there before 7am and try and get into pit garage number 1, Will let you if it a different bay That's if you want to join us of course lol?
Of course. I usually get there early. Ive got there before no limits before and had to open the garages myself lol
I cant make it to donington now. I just found out Im on a training course down in Milton Keynes on the 7th. Luckily no limits got me on at donington on the 1st aug.
Sorry to hear that James, maybe another time enjoy the 1st mate and let's hope the rain stays away for both
Well today went well for us, but judging by all the red flags it didn't go to well for quite a few others oil split on track twice, so we lost a whole session in the end while it was all cleared. Still weather held, I beat me best lap time by 9s (still in Novice, as this is just my 3rd ever track day) and I finally got the hang of getting my knee down Pictures to follow Loads of blades there, anyone from here? Simon
Sounds like a bad / good day - Red Flags = Bad Knee Down = Good Hope nobody badly hurt in the day - oil is bad news on track - trust me and my knackered ankle on that part
One person had an ankle injury I believe, was taken off to hospital (the rumor was) not sure if he went down on the oil? Luckily for us though the blows ups were in different groups, so no oil for us at least
