Well what a day, Started by my mate lee and Tom coming up early after work. We all finished early. Bike already packed the night before so we set off. Got to Donington and found a camp site close to gate 21. Tents up and BBQ on for a good night, lots of food and a few beers. Got up at 6:30 and was at the circuit by 7am but it was already packed with vans. Found a god spot in garage 12A and another mate Luke turned up on his 600cbr. Briefing done and I'm in novices, mainly as this will be first real ride of the year, my mates only second time on track and our first time at Donington. I did not enjoy the morning, I did not have any moments on track but the bikes not been ridden for ages, n track to learn and just was not at one with the bike. My hips played me up a bit so I was in a bit f pain but some pain killers kernel the edge of it. Had lunch. Too my time and off again for the first session of the afternoon. Feck me its coming together. N idea but I was braking harder, Corning quicker and it was starting to come together. I did it feel I was pushing it as ha as I could have but I enjoyed myself which in the only thing for doing a track day A few riders ran off track in from of me but was a good afternoon End of the day it was a great day, weather was perfect, not cold or to warm. Blue sky and big circuit to learn. You can't get much better A few people had thrown the self at the fences during the morning. But is got less during the afternoon. Hope no one hurt the self. Pics and vids up soon. And sorry Andy I never god to see you. Always so busy and loads of people there i did keep my eye out
Tyres set at 30 front and rear Hot. so about 26/27 cold was a great day and can't wait until my next TD
Was stunning mate the weather could have not been better. well a bit warmer but great for April The best bits, spending the day going fun and having fun on the bike. spending times with mates, and the great track and weather The bad bits, my fecked hips really not allowing me (not having the strengh) to hang off as much as I would like to move on the bike as much without getting major pain. But in the end I had a great day
