I'm thinking of going to Donington Park on Thursday 9th May. My trailer has seen better days so was thinking of hiring a van. Does anyone want to use the van with me? Split the costs? Might be a squeeze to get three bikes in but two will fit easily. So let me know if anyones interested and I'll get booked on.

Now do I use the Suzuki GSXR 600 track bike for one last track day. Or do I risk the Fireblade? I really want to try a 1000 on track but I've got a couple of touring hols to think of.

No one ever goes out with the intention of throwing the bike down the road mate, but if you got a tool for the job, it would seem a shame to risk it just to see what the extra horses will do, especially with them touring holidays coming up :)

Save the blade till after your hols, just in case.

You could possibly hire a trailer instead, my local trailer hire place in lincoln rents a 2 bike trailer out for £30 per day (or £15 per half day in case you bin your bike and need to pick it up)

There you go, £30 per day for a 1 bike trailer. Plus there are loads of owners on ebay willing to rent them out. You just need to sort out some straps. I bought some on ebay as it was cheaper than renting them too.

Ive got all the tie down strapes. I've been making do with a 3 motocross bike trailer. The 600 fits on there ok but without a front wheel choke I'm a bike nervous towing. I usually go on weekend trackdays and use works van. So easy with a van I can secure the bike with one strap! But them trailers on the website look really good, better points for securing the bike. Plus I've noticed cords showing on my trailer wheels.
