Double Bubble

    Advice please
    Looking at double bubble screens but horror stories of melted instruments keep cropping up. The Genuine Honda one has a screen between the instruments and the actual windscreen but its a fortune. Anyone recommend a alternative that is good quality and wont melt the clocks?

    What's this?
    I've never heard of a double bubble screen melting. What melts? I wouldn't expect the clocks or a screen to get hot?

    Not the screen. Its the instruments cause they get too hot

    I think if your in the UK you shouldn't have a problem. Folks in hotter climates tend to suffer the issues and keep a cloth on them to cover the cluster when parked out.

    I have seen a few on various forums who's dash has melted in the uk,
    Some DB screens act like a magnifying glass and burn the screen on the dash.
