Ok, I know they're not Fireblades, but you have to admire the paintwork on these to bikes.

Both Suzuki GSXR 1000's which were being delivered to Crescent Suzuki by DreamMachine Paintworks. They'd both been commissioned by Crescent Suzuki and the paintwork was totally stunning, you could see the depth of the paint and laquer, it looked a mile deep...... LOL. First time I've seen a DreamMachine painted bike, but there work is outstanding.

I've had 2 dream machine bikes and to be perfectly honest. The standard of work was terrible. If I'd had the work commissioned myself there would have been hell to pay!!

Dream Machine were 'all that' years ago, but not so much nowadays it seems.

Bit hit and miss by all accounts.

Having had two Dream machine bikes The work is very good but the paint is soft so without venturesheild expect massive stone chips but the wheels are vulnerable.

On the two that I had there was a really thick build up of paint at the edges of some panels. The bikes had then been reassembled before the paint was fully hardened causing the paint to act like a glue and tearing if you removed the panel.

They really ought to be a much higher standard for the money they charge. If I were to ever want a paint job, I think I'd talk a custom Harley type place to take it on. Those guys know how important good paintwork is.

I agree with the negative comments regarding Dream Machine. The paintwork looks lovely until you get close up or actually own one. They had paint runs and build up on most jobs that I haves seen and on my RC8 Red Bull I decided to fit Ventureshield as already mentioned the paint chips if you look at it the wrong way.

On repositioning the Ventureshield the entire front headlight section just peeled the paint completely off in one piece which was stuck to the back of the Ventureshield. The primer was still on the panel and had not been keyed properly so the paint was in effect just lying on top of the primer.

Needles to say Dream Machine blamed the Venturshield so I had to get it painted locally myself.

Also when looking for my Fireblade I was initially going to go for a TT Legends bike but the dealer steered me away from the bike stating that the paintwork by Dream Machine was crap and the bike was going back !!

Like most places there will be good and bad jobs and they do look stunning until you have a problem.

I had a Dream Machine R6 Camel Colours Rossi rep and had the paintwork ditireate over a couple of years, and in the end sold it before it was a lost cause. But I have to say I still miss that bike :( it was my baby

Yep I had a taylormade cover painted by Dream Machine and it was awful. I gave them the paint code and it went back three times as it never matched. In the end I gave up and settled for a near match. It turns out that they didn't have a standard mix of paint for Repsols so every one will differ slightly. They also mixed up their own paint so my Pearl Siren Blue (A Metallic colour) would never be an exact match.
