Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa: Dominican Republic Resorts Having just returned, on the whole I would say that this place is spot on if you want a lazy holiday with or without children, its equally good either way. Having reviewed our photographs, the ones shown on the website probably do the place more justice. The accommodation, restaurant's and bars are excellent as was the evening (if somewhat a bit corny)entertainment. We didn't bother leaving the complex but if you wanted to there are plenty of tours and trip options available. We where lucky and our apartment was in the block closest to and with the patio facing the beach, so ask for block 1. The biggest laugh was playing black jack in the casino and saying "Twist" when I wanted another card. the look on the rest of the players faces where a picture and I thought L was going to crack a rib she laughed so much.......needless to say that was the last hand I played before it being obvious that it was time we left. The low side was having to give a bigoted American a little bit of a slap in the nightclub, but to be fair he apologised the next day so no harm done, well no harm done to me anyway. We where warned that drinking the water would make you ill, I think they should also give the same warning about the rum. Would we go there again, yes, I think we would.
