Drift HD170 Stealth Camera

    Does anyone have one of these?

    Drift HD170 Stealth Camera - 1080p POV - Drift Innovation

    Thinking of getting one for capturing the great roads on tours, and possibly track time. Anyone got any experience of using them on bikes? (prefer not to mount on my Shoei as already have an Interphone on the left so would look a right numpty with that on the right as well!)

    I've seen the keyring cams get good write-ups on here, but am thinking that the longer battery life/resilience of these might be more suited to long touring days?

    Its the no HD version Drift X170, fab piece of kit

    Glad to hear that! I've ordered one now so should have it by the weekend to play with, fingers crossed.

    Have you mounted it to your bike, or just use it on your lid? Not sure whether to use the velcro mount to attach it to the bike somewhere or use a Ram mount somewhere.

    Currently £195 or so (UK) or £170 (import from US), down from £250+ a short while back.

    (top tip: use uk.camelcamelcamel.com to track price changes of Amazon.co.uk products, and they'll also alert you when they drop below whatever threshold you set)

    I, like Rich have a standard drif170 and its a good cam - this is even better. However, the Contour + is where the parties at... but at £500 notes, it aint cheap.
