How many miles would you expect to get out the standard chain on a 2012?
I am just over 2k and have adjusted several times. Been on 1 track day and reasonably quick on the road, but I ain't John McGuinness!

heavy duty afam ftw. fkin expensive but well worth it.
only time i touch mine apart from cleaning it is when i change the rear tyre.
18k since i fitted it and its not moved on the adjuster.
rear ally renthal sprocket is worn tho - no wear at all on the front renthal steel cog.

you gets what yer pays for innit,

had a chain snap on me last year and it wrote off the engine. wont scrimp on chains again.
that was a rusty one id cleaned up!

havent seen those solid lube things before, nice one :)
currently im using a non fling waterproof white ptfe grease from work - beltin stuff, doesnt shit the wheels up either

I have added 8k to my 2011 blade chain, touring fast road and trackdays and only needed to adjust 1 once between services. But I do look after the chain

Just cleaned mine and another slight adjustment needed used a new product WD40 Chain cleaner part of the new range of WD40 products have to say although they all do the same job I am very impressed as their just seems to be a better clean per squirt . I topped it off with a coating of Putoline lube which I like but I will be trying the the new WD40 lube .

I got 40k out of a chain on a 600... BUt that was with a scott-oiler fitted. I'd fit one to my blade too but there's nowhere really to put the reservoir...
