Well i'm bloody gutted I just went to have a last minute bid of 400 notes on these chaps: dymag forged aluminium 17" 7 spoke wheels complete with discs and carrier | eBay and instead of going to the confirm bid page ebay takes me to the sign back in page!!! Grrr I know I would have had to spend a few quid having spacers and the like made up and having them refinished in white but oh bugger shit bollocks
Okay if you've got a kawazaki I guess, if I was allowed to bid and won i'd have had them refinished in white to go with my planned livery!
That sounds lovely, my mate has a set of carbon wheels on his R! and the turn in is fantastic as is the braking, but at £2.5K i should think so!!
I've just been looking on the Dymag website and the 7 spokes as above aren't quite so expensive as I thought they might be new. But £1050 + Vat is still a fair amount of wedge. I'm not really sure how light a standard set of wheels are compared to these aftermarket ones if the weight saving is minimal it hardly worth it. Anyone know what weights we should be aiming for when looking for aftermarket wheels?
Any significant weight loss at rotating mass is a benefit. So even if they are some ).5 kilos lighter then this makes the world of difference at say 400 revelutions.
Yeah I realize it doesn't have to be loads of wait to make a big difference, but if I was to be paying new prices I can't see there being a huge difference in prices between brands, so i'd pay a bit more to go with the lightest of the bunch
