    hi guys,

Recently purchased the complete DynoJet kit comprising of QS, PC and another bit but when I've installed the QS today it didn't mention how much to cut off the road or if I even leave them standard length. It says the aftermarket rods supplied should be 50mm shorter than the standard rod but it would mean cutting one of them in half if this was the case. Has anyone recently fitted one and had any issues or advice.

Bike is a 2015 model, non SP or ABS model of that helps..

    Thanks.

Dynojet make a direct replacement rod. I think it's called "shift rod a" or something similar

You need to remove whatever the quickshifter length is, if thats means 50mm is half the rod then thats it.

There is usually the parts to make one when you buy it so the original remains uncut.

I get one fabbed up - anyone who makes spacers/metalwork should do it

The overall length with the shifter should be the same
    As the original

You can buy them on eBay in the length you need.

The replacement length i needed was 120mm, that was for a HM QS which is 50mm with Diamond Racing rearsets and it all fits perfect.

    Hope that helps.

Ok I sorted this out today. I managed to get conformation from Dynojet direct. I'm running standard rear sets so supplied to me were rods A & Cl on each rod there are 3 rings each 5mm apart, I needed to cut 3 rings of each rod so 30mm in total. Might be useful for anyone in the future. Just got to get it booked in now for a custom map
