Hi, i made a booboo..and posted an item to Number 2 instead of Number 27. in Northamton The buyer said he has not go tthe parcel, upon checking i made the mistake and parcel is delivered to Number 2. I have asked him to go knock at number 2, as the parcel will be in his name - he said he does not have time and maybe able to Saturday but can not guarantee it..! he has only 2 feedback rating, nothing recent.. I have a feeling i will have to refund him, but am sure he will also go collect the parcel.. and not tell me... Any thoughts? Sam

value is only £25..not allot.. never thought about asking...good thinking... postcode is NN4 - never know there may even be a member who lives here... lol lesson learnt...always get a signature..
Write to the occupier at number 2 explaining you sent the item to them in error, enclose your phone number. Hopefully you find them to be honest and they will phone you to either ask what you want them to do with the item or to say that it was collected by the proper recipient. Either way they then know that you know where the item went.
Sam Call his bluff by saying you have a family friend who lives locally and will pop over to call at No 2 and hopefully if in deliver to 27..... and say it will be at the weekend (more likely for all to be in)..... if you tell him you ll get this done before a refund is sent im sure you ll find he will have magically received it !!
Ring the local sorting office nearest to where you sent it to, I have done that before and they helped me out.
