I bought a video camera for the bike last xmas from a seller in China. First time I used it in May it kept locking up, and the video it did record was distorted. Took the plunge and sent it back to the seller and they are now being very unhelpful. Thing is it looks like ebay will basically wash their hands of it as it was bought too long ago, same with paypal. I'm pretty certain I didn't pay with a credit card so can't go through them and so I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this sort of problem, or should I just put it down as a lesson and walk away?

Shock horror it actually turned up. Both bits have been replaced, put tell-tell marks on originals, and I left it recording for 2 hours without a hitch. Pleasantly surprised :)
