    Seriously.....is it just me?? :D

    I was just looking at a Ventura rack and bag thing on eBay. It was used but the guy started his auction at £150. I understand that this is what he would've hoped to get for it but if you want interest in what you're selling then surely don't start the auction at that.

    Added to that he wouldn't post it anywhere. Literally wouldn't put the stuff in a box and take it to the post office. Collection only. And he's in Wales.

    It's like he didn't actually want anyone to bid :D

    Which, incidentally, nobody did.

    I have to often check Ebay against other shops online or not. my workstation I bought for my garage was £230 from machine mart or £250 Ebay +£10 P&P

    so good deals other times not so

    I long for the days when eBay was eBay and you could still get bargains. I still start my auctions off nice and cheap and let the chips fall. Half the time you end up getting more that way because people talk themselves into owning your item and lose sight of what they're paying :D
