Has anybody ever had to send there ECU and barrel away to get new keys coded. I have sent mine off to a company in Kent who says they can 100% do it for £250 they have had them for more than 2 weeks now and I keep getting fobbed off by them, its starting to grind on me. Has anybody had and trouble getting sorted? or am i the only tool who would buy a bike without keys.

Sorry, I have no idea about the keys and prices or time, but the way you phrased that last bit made me chuckle, just the sort of thing I would say, lol :D

I've seen ecu+keys+locks on fleabay for about £300, admittedly for rr6/7 but price for other years can't be that different. Tell them to send yours back and flog what you have and replace from fleabay.

The biggest problem is the HISS system on the 08-11 model ( not to sure on the new models) the ECU has to talk to the key for the bike to start you can get a key and turn it on but the bike wont start unless its programmed to the ECU that's what i have been told anyway. i have been promised it for Tuesday morning so if its not hear by then i think i will be throwing all my toys out the pram

the ECU and key have to be matched, that's why he said about ECU, locks and keys as a bundle on eBay. Hiss has been like that for many years now.

I am sure they will sort yours and it will be there shortly, just not soon enough of course, lol ;)
