I received my Recall letter this morning for my 2020 CBR1000RR-R Something to do with the OBD data management program of the PGM-Fi ECM, setting need to be updated due to cases of engine stalls or even engine cut out whilst riding. I haven't experienced any of these issues, but best get it booked in. Has anyone else had the same recall?
Yes, I had mine done at Vertu Honda in Grantham earlier this month. I haven't had a letter, just happened to see it when checking the status of earlier recalls on the Honda website. I hadn't had any problems with my bike and I can't tell any difference now that it has been done either.
mine goes in on this wed,mine did cut out a week or so ago coming off the motorway,i was changing down,the back wheel locked up,apart from the stalling issue i read somewhere that the clutch can be effected ,would this account for my Q/S playing up
Mine cut out pulling to stop, second time I’d ridden it. I thought it was a fuelling glitch. I pulled the clutch in and engine stopped. Interesting that there’s yet another recall for this model.
