Been doing the rounds on the old social media sites for a couple of weeks this photo.
Yep they should defo practice what they preach.
To add, the photography savvy amongst will see that from the focus of the vehical interior it was actually the driver that took the photo? Of course I may be wrong? ;)

It's also well know it's not a real police van but a tv / prop vehicle

Yeah, I can't imagine they'd be allowed prop vehicle on the roads without marking over the 'Police' wording on the side of it. There's some pretty strict rules out there regarding any police markings on a vehicle when the vehicle is not actually on duty.

Saying it was a 'prop' vehicle sounds exactly like the kind of words that'd come out of some smart arsed lawyers mouth knowing that this had got out into the mainstream.

The photographer shoulda dropped back then, switched to Video mode, captured the Vans registration then cruised up along side then beeped his horn so as to get a panic reaction from said copper.

Bang 2 rights my son! :D

By law you are actually allowed to use your mobile phone whilst driving if it is to make a call to the emergency services-

Maybe he was calling the police??
