No Limits have revamped their website and added some crazy end of year prices for October. Weather permitting, who's up for any of the following Cadwell dates:- Tuesday 1st Oct£79:- RichC. Monday 14th Oct£59:- muffking(Novice), SimonRR (if he can sort transportation). Monday 28th Oct £49:- muffking(Novice) Tuesday 29th Oct£49:- Quick Booking
I fancied the 14th but will wait to see what the weather is going to be like nearer the time. If I come along it'll be my first time so I'll be In novice class, don't have to worry about tyre warmers etc as I read novice group aren't allowed to use them?
we did novice yesterday at Cadwell because it was my first time there and we used warmers I will be booking Inters next time though Mondays are best for me Muff, but I can get most days off given a bit of warning, so will keep a check on the weather and see how it pans out I will be changing my clutch plates at the weekend as I got a bit of slip creeping in yesterday Simon
+1 on the warmers. Not an issue at Cadwell as the paddock is well away from the pit area. I too will wait nearer the time, but am available for the last 3 dates.
14th of October looking ok for me, and weather so far looks dry but cold, 8c they say, but dry is main thing as I still don't have any wet weather tyres, thats for next year lol Simon
yes we could do, its cheap enough, I just have to make sure that my Mate Paul wants to come, as he has the trailer and tow bar, otherwise I'm stuck, unless anyone else is hiring a van nearby and wants to share the cost. The good thing is my 2800kva generator worked well, Paul took his little 850w for his rear tyre and mine did the other 3 plus a kettle will let you know asap Muff, ok mate?
just had a word with my mate and he can't make it, so I'm stuck here without transport I will need to sort a tow bar and trailer out for myself next year, I don't like being dependant on anyone so unless you know of anyone coming up through Grantham with a van that day I can't join you mate? Simon
I dont, unless you had access to a car with a towbar and hired a trailer, although that would add £30 to the cost of the day. You could try checking his availability on a different day, or i could carry what you need there and you could ride your bike to Cadwell as i'll still have my trailer if i needed to do a return journey.
Just goes to show how much profit they make in the high season, bearing in mind they will still be making a profit on these sale dates.
No I don't muff but Will try and get a tow bar fitted for next year and buy a one bike trailer, I hate being dependant on anyone His bike blew a hose on last session and he needs to get that fixed and some car fixing to do to, so he says he can't do any more track days until next year now
I'll rent you my trailer for less than that Collapsible motorcycle trailer hire in Lincoln LN2. £25 per day inc. staps. | eBay
I just need a towbar, am sure my mate will let me borrow the trailer for no cost? If not I can buy a second hand one for around £150-£200, cheaper than renting if you do loads of track days To rent a van for Monday track day means 3 days rental at over £100
Have you looked in to the cost of a tow bar? They are not that dear these days, especially if you can DIY as they take place of the crash bar instead of how you used to have to drill them in.
all the ones round here don't open until 8am, so even a Tuesday one would be a two day rental also what size van is that for just £29? and who with
