Has anyone had any experience with these ? Do they work? Are they the best ones on the market or are the Takai ones better ?

What is high performance about them? By changing the number of coils, you can make the voltage higher or lower, but the power is volts x amps so as long as the voltage is high enough to jump the plug gap it makes no difference. It will make your wallet a little lighter though.

Altough I have not used one before, HP coils are supposed to give a stronger spark (higher voltage).
It can jump across a bigger gap and be less affected but any deposit on the electrodes.
Wheather it makes a difference on a well maintained engine, I don't know!

I think they are more geared to modified engines as higher compression etc requires more voltage for the spark to jump the gap

Definite snake oil, might be of some use on a heavily tuned engine as above but still not convinced. They're mega money too. I've looked at all this stuff as I run a race car with a sc59 blade engine and I decided it's not remotely worth it.
