I am after a bit of help took my bike out last week first time since last year.its a 2010 abs engine is missing really bad below 4000 rpm as soon as you get above 4000 its fine, after about 30 miles it cleared it self and every thing was fine.i took it out again today and the same problem, again after about 30 miles it was ok any idea what to look at I'm thinking plugs or coils but I'm only guessing, bikes done 7000 miles
I can think of two things: a temperature sensore misbehaving a visit to the dealer to hook up a diagnostic reader should flag this up. and as you mentioned, spark plugs if the engine is running super rich it will not deliver when accelerating ( as in being overchoked in old money) even once fully warmed up, it will still take somes miles before the plugs are cleared.
