Hi, whats the reason for another engine??. For a 10 year old bike, you'll probably get a high mileage engine, price wise I'm not sure, but what i would like to do is give you an alternative. Send it away for repair/refresh. That way you know, you have a better conditioned engine. Ive sent away several engines and it turned out cheaper, and i know its had a quality service. Just a thought.
Hi, thanks for the reply, big end #3 had gone, parts and labour for a rebuild were more than a new engine unfortunately. Picked one up for a good price with less than 10k miles, all working well. So I'll try and sell the original one and try to recoup a few quid! Cheers.
