engine sprocket

    what is the torque setting for the front sprocket and which way do you go to undo it,ive tried going anti clockwise,but its not moving at all,so if any one knows of a good way of undoing the thing ill be a happy bunny,the bikes 2021 rr-r sp

    Ideally you need someone to stand on the rear brake for you. You might need a long breaker bar to loosen the nut holding the sprocket on. It's the usual right hand thread, so anti-clockwise to undo.

    Righty tighty and lefty loosey, I put a broom handle through the wheel with a rag wrapped around it and rotate the wheel until it sits against the swingarm and then undo the sprocket nut.

    thanks guys for your replies,i finally got the bloody thing undone using a heavy duty inpact gun,man it was so tight,i asked the local honda dealers for the torque for the f/sprocket man you would have thought i was asking for there personal details,they wouldnt give any info,now thanks to you boys i can now torque the thing up
