    He's safe, bless him.

Funny though, this bloody storm killed 19 people in the Caribbean and never got inch one of coverage in the media. It hasn't even reached the septics yet and you'd think the end of the world had come.

God help them all.I've been in a force 8 hurricane out in Hongkong on the top floor of flats back in the 70s. You could hear the flat creaking not a nice experience for a 11yr old.

Yup, I'm here at home mate.
There where reports about NYC running out of food and such… theres was fookin plenty when i left lol. The cab driver (from Indonesia) said the yanks cry over a bit of rain, and Manhattan is sheltered due to the high buildings, and they are designed to withstand earthquakes due to the construction etc…
To be fair though, they do whinge about fuck all, like the guy who kicked off about the deli having no caesar dressing. Moanin twat.

Good news Si you live to shush the old ladys of the Wirral.

Why doesn’t that last comment surprise me ! Like you say Sideways, I have lived through wind and rain like nothing on earth in Malaysia once, it’s quite frightening. My oldest son's ex girlfriend was also in Indonesia as her father was working there when the Boxing Day Tsunami hit, her story is terrible.
