This is the 4th bike I've painted for this guy, this blade a CB1000 in Custom HRC colours and 2 KH's Thanks for your comments bout the Playboy rep too [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
Amazeballs - how much does something like that cost? (Castrol) Oh, and my next question.. how easy is to to paint the grey 'bumper' like plastic which surrounds the ram air tubes?
Stunning work, love the Castrol one. if I every get bored with my plain black one I will give you a hoot. Bit worried about the bike being slower like the Respsol ones if I did though
Don't worry about it mate, it's irrelevant - Jamie can tell you also. They are all slower than the hrc....
I refuse to get into the 'what colour bike is the faster' argument. My boss maintains that Black cameras always take better pictures. I would like to stake a claim that certain colours will slow other vehicles down. You'd be surprised how many cars I follow at precisely the speed limit with the drivers looking at a White fairing with Blue stripes in their mirror.
I understood everything you said except the "I follow at precisely the speed limit" sorry you lost me.
Hey Zee. Think the Castrol was £1500 all in, basically he had the works - ride in/ride out - wheels (with pinstripes painted) - bodykit Regarding paintin the 'bumper plastic', you really need to know what plastic it is. ABS is best, most bodykits are made out of this. If it PP (polypropylene) you've got no chance, without goin into the geeky science bit PP is designed so its chemically resistant to many things and it doesn't like things sticking to it. Hope this helps
Einstein categorically proved that there is a single speed limit. You can accelerate up to but not beyond it. And that is 186,000 miles per second, in a vacuum. In order to reach it though you will incur infinite mass. Which is why Repsol riders are lardasses.
