yup, piece of cake to fit...just remove bottom bolt on rad and slide it in. Runs a tad hotter, but all good!

Depends what year ya Blade is OP?

If it's a MY12/13 then it's a bit of a twat to fit as you have to remove the Belly Pan loosen the side fairings at the base and squeeze it in from below.

Took me around 75mins feckin about but it's well worth it as it's the best made and best looking guard on the market IMHO and is made outa Ally as well, not ya cheap rusty steel shat or plastic!

thats good to hear, cos ive just bought one lol.
didnt fancy making my own this time.

essential bit of kit imo especially at this time of year when they start loose dressing the roads :/

beware of this btw if you are around the back or chester / delamere / tarporley area... i noticed the other day, fortunately i was in my van!

Thanks for the tips guys, thought I'd better get one as I've read some horror stories about bolts and stuff finding a new home in rads, and why can't we build decent roads over here they manage it up mountains in Europe but we can't do it in flat blighty.(whinge over)

I fitted an R&G Racing radiator guard to my RR8 soon after I bought it new. Peviously I had a CBR600RR for 6 years and I noticed that it had a few bent vanes in the radiator and a whopping great dent in one area (amazed that it wasn't leaking). New radiators cost a fortune, so this was a "no brainer" purchase from EBay for abput £40 new from a dealer.

I have not noticed any tendancy to get hotter faster than before fitting, but I'm not worried - that's what the thermostat and the electric cooling fan are there for.
