Evotech tail tidy help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Right been tring to fit this an d those idoits sent me two left arms!! anyway the wires to the number plate light it says connect the male bulliet to that, and where for the female ones?? does this go to the old reflecter wire?? do you cut the old bulb off and connect the female bulliet??

    Any help would be great

    Also should i use the orignal rubber washers when reinstalling and put the heat shields back on??

    Just done this to my RR7. You will have to cut the OE number plate light wire. Personally, I didnt bother with the bullet connectors, just twisted the 2 pairs together, and wrapped tightly in insulating tape.

    I kept the heat shields on as well, so not sure what you mean about rubber washers.

    Cheers pal! rubber washers what was on the orignal what are on the arms ,in the evopack you get four bolts and two washers to use if you have the standard exhust.

    Yes, your right... I did get those in the packet... do you mean the 2 fat black washers?

    If so, then yes, I used those on the gearshift side, as per the instructions... I re-used the original bolts though as mine looked good as new. (the ones in the Evo-tech pack looked a little cheap to me)

    Be sure to get all the wires routed properly, including zip-wiring to the inside of the tail-tidy, BEFORE you put it all back together... I made that mistake, then had to take it all back off again and do the job properly.
