Exhaust DB

    What db level do you think my full Akra system will be..fitted to my RR5

    the rear can does have road legal written on it..of course there is no cat..

    anyone know..

    my brother has a track day tommrow and thinks his 2010 RC8 with a full akra is too loud..definatly louder then mine..allot louder!

    You can get free apps on the iPhone but how accurate they are is anyones guess.[​IMG]

    Downloading DB Meter Pro from Instalous

    will run and then get him to compare it against the one at the track..

    Downloaded two different apps for the iphone..

    mine was 90db at idle and 96db at 5000rpm.

    the ktm which sounds louder, was the same..

    The KTM might 'sound' louder due to the the it having a deeper exhaust note compared to the Fireblade caused by it being a V-twin, or it could just be that thats as loud as them apps work to.

    The only way I know of testing it is keep riding past the police station, after a few mins I'm sure they will be kind enough to test it for you
