Sorry if this is flogging a dead horse, I've just refitted the standard silencer, replacing an Akro flapped unit that had the flap disconnected . I'm getting a 3-5 fault code (exhaust flap) yet the flap appears to be working - do I need to clear the code to get rid of it? If so how do I do it?

Most codes clear themselves when the fault is fixed, but there has been mention before of the flapper motor being reinstalled incorrectly causing it to jam up and make the bike think there's a fault. From memory you need to turn the ignition on so the motor can go to its resting position before you put the cables on.
