I've just done this to the new blade, will it fek it up... i.e throw out the fuelling at all?

It does sound nicer though.

People generally say it doesn't have enough of an effect to muck up the fuelling.
However, my personal experience of the exhaust flapper mod with stock exhaust on an 08 was that it did affect the fuelling and it just didn't feel right to me. It certainly didn't enhance performance, just made the bike a bit louder below 5000rpm.
Not bothered any more as I've since binned the stock exhaust.

Late reply I know but still usefull for others.
I found this on another site its very usefull shows it does affect the fueling at the bottom end(see blue line at the bottom is not flat at the start on Air-Fuel ratio) but hardly any difference with the power.

I tried it and it makes no difference at all. Doesn't even sound that much different. Bit louder but I wouldn't say any better.

I would just leave it till you decide to change to a slip on or a system.

I have not even tried as it did not have any benefit for me. But its good information if someone is thinking about it.
Some of the US guys would tell you it gained 10bhp and sounds awesome!

    It seems so

If you do decide to try it make sure you wind the servo motor back to it's closed position before staring the engine or you get an FI light on the dash.

It takes literally a minute to do the mod so may be worth trying but personally I didn't think it was worth doing.
