My bike has the standard exhaust on, in fact apart from the little bits I have changed its nearly completely standard. The chap I bought the bike from told me that he had heard that cutting 2 holes in the rear silencer baffle by inserting a 25-30mm hole cutter down the twin pipes will give another 10-15 bhp and obviously change the exhaust note. I've done a quick search and not seen it mentioned, has anyone else on here either tried this or know of it being done and the results ?? The future is a full Akrapovic system but for now I would just see if this is a viable modification.
I did mine................but did,nt get any more BHP from the mod!................but she sounded pretty good.
Hmmm as its an "invisible" mod, kind of, I think I'll give it a go, though not really looking to make the bike "loud" as my other bike does that plenty enough , but a sportier note is always good

Muffking opened his up and gutted the inside as he didn't like the sound with just drilling it, I think it can be a bit hit and miss. Tom what year do you have?
