Hi guys, I'm after a new end can for my rr5 and wondered if anyone had any recommendations? I had a yoshimura ss rs-5 which I sold last year and bought an akra ti can. The akra is nice but I just don't like the sound! The yoshi was a great sounding can and I regret swapping now lol I would love a hyperflo (deep throaty noise) but can't justify 500 plus shipping and customs from USA So I wondered if anyone could recommend a nice loud, deep sounding can? I'm not looking for hp gains just noise Cheers Nick
I had a Quill GP1 can on my RR5 and it sounded the nuts! Great finish and all in with link pipe it was £275 fitted. Highly recommended.
Cheers guys, I'll look up some YouTube videos for those (I know they're not the best way of listening but the give you an idea)
+1 on the leo vince.had one on my RR5 and I think they Are one of the best sounding in the flesh. Also have a Nice finish to them.
I have a full Leo Vince Factory race system on my 06 blade , sound great but a little bit to noisey so wear ear plugs .
Can't speak for the blade but a friend's mivv On his duke has been replaced twice with the Internals coming apart.
Just had a listen to those Leo vinces, they sound really nice!! Doesn't sound promising on the quality of the mivvs! But then they are quite cheap aren't they
I have a jardine on there now, it looks alot better but I think the scorpion had the better sound. It depends what you like I suppose, the jardine is very loud and deep where the scorpion wasn't so obnoxious was deep with a nice screamy tone when you go for it. Hope part of that made sense lol
It did mate, absolute sense lol It's the deep and obnoxious I'm going after now (having moved away from it by getting the akra)
Honda CBR1000rr 2007 titanium sleeved carbon tip Scorpion e - YouTube You don't get to appreciate the deepness of the tone on video...
Is that the rt1 Martin? The tick over on that scorpion sounds lovely but I'd prefer something a bit louder up the rev range (probably video not doing the actual sound justice)
Yep that's it mate, if you check google there's better pics, some how I always manage to make all my exhausts look wonky in pics!
