    HI All,

Will be removing the original can to fit my Austin Racing Can.

Is this a simple screw off and screw on process?

My new link pipe has a nut in place...do i remove this? as guessing the original can has a sensor that goes here?

On the 2014 onwards I don't think there is a sensor that fits there (when I swapped my 2014 RR-E from standard to Akra I don't remember moving a sensor over).

Are you sure the can and link pipe are for 2014 onwards model? - end cans / link pipe are a different fitment to the earlier 2008 to 2013 model.

Nope it's just undo the bracket and gentle slide it of. No sensor to worry about only thing u have to is to remove the cable from the servo flappy thing under seat. U get to it buy taking all the little plastic screws Oct the of covers. U must put the severe back in the closed position or u will get an error up.

Its a straight forward job mate. First off disconnect the exhaust flap cable. Make sure you make a note of the servo position before you remove the cable as failing to put it back to its correct position will cause the FI light to illuminate. If you can disconnect the O2 sensor then do that before undoing the actual sensor from the can. Doing it that way just stops the wires twisting, which could lead to a break. Undo the the bolt connecting the headers to the the silencer. Finally undo the bolt on the rearset to the exhaust and remove.

If you have an O2 eliminator then just leave that O2 cap in place on the Austin link pipe. Connect everything up loosely for now. When you're happy with the position, torque the bolts up. NOTE: Throughly clean the exhaust to remove oily prints with WD40 or other cleaner before starting the bike up.

The bolt needs to stay in the link pipe, as the O2 sensor is before the cat on the 15 where as the O2 sensor is in silencer on the 08-13

Hope you have the right link pipe! As that looks like one from a pre 2014... Only saying that as my link pipe has no fixing for sensor as it fits in pre-cat... Good luck fella

Check out YouTube i think there is a video on this. The servo thing under above the hugger is the main thing plus your seat bolts are always too tight
