Guys just a quick question from those that have recently purchased from Tom@Biohazard My exhaust arrived in UK on the 21st Oct and i have just checked and it now says it has cleared customs as of todays date. At which point do i get allocated a further tracking number? Thanks in advance Si
From what i have read on here in the past mate just keep phoning and pestering them . He who shouts loudest will be served first with these guys
You should get a letter/email/call to pay import tax, once paid the item will be shipped! Sometimes I have had the goods then week later the letter saying I owe tax, other times (depends on who's shipping) they phone if they have your number.. Tax is around 3.5% and plus vat on bike parts plus a small handle charge.
go to parcelforce website and enter the original tracking number from usps and it will convert to the new tracking number. when it arrives at your nearest depot ring parcelforce up and they will give you the customs number from your new tracking number then use parcelforce website to pay customs charge then mine was sent our very next day.
i,d try again as they dont usually request the customs charge until it reaches the last depot before you. they were really helpful when i phoned and the local depot even rung me back to arrange delivery.
just got a message to say that my item couldnt be delivered today due to 'payment of charges'. It is being held while addressee is notified. Just says express 48 and status as being held
