Myself and 5 mates off too Cumbria, Northumberland & North Yorkshire Moors end of May beginning of June. Visiting 3 National Parks over 5 days. Got B & B's booked...RR7 booked in for service and new set of tyres on order. Trying to plan a route through most beautiful sightseeing and scenery parts but as its only my 2nd tour it's difficult without knowing the area. Any suggestions on best roads? Scenery and sightseeing locations. The six bikes on the tour is a 57' BMW GS1200...Honda Blade RR7...'15 Honda CBR650f....13' Triumph Daytona 675r...'98 Honda VFR 800..'11 Gixser 750....06' Ducati Monster....a real mix lol.

What an awesome area , but I would def. head over the wall into the Borders for a day, ColinBR and ShinysideUp can provide some details.

You need to visit Hartside Cafe (East of Penrith), Keilder Water cafe (and the roads) , The Buddhist temple near Eskdalemuir.
The A7 from Longtown up towards Edinburgh is a must do road too
For Cumbria the far west coast to Whitehaven, Cockermouth, Pooley Bridge is good loop, or you can do some of the real tough passes but be warned they are STEEP (Hardknott / Wrynose) - Kirkstone better and still has good views.

If you list in order where you staying (don't list dates as nice bikes going) will help with ideas.

    Also lo

That's so appreciated and I'm grateful for the ideas. Starting at Skipton - Keswick - Duns - Rosedale Abbey - Home
