hi all, I've just ordered a laser duel-tech exhaust and link pipe for 07 blade, should be here some time next week. I know what the valve does but need some advice on how to take it off, I read somewhere that you should disconnect the cables but leave the electrics alone? Also what does taking this off do to the performance of the bike.

Quite right, it's not an exhaust ultimate power valve like what was fitted to the early FZR1000 and R1's and just for those that have never seen them side by side they are no way the same it's an EPA noise control valve to reduce noise at a given rpm for euro3 emission laws. EPA is environmental protection agency. :)

Gary was the one with the help I got into the blerb and forgot to answer....lol Id remove the cables from the servo too then they are history.. :) a chap on 1000rr does a little box for around twenty dollars that stops the error code and lets you remove the servo if you wish think they call it an servo buddy, speedycom sell them for all other bikes just not the honda :(
