Hi folks, I,m looking some advice from people who have bought fairings from HK/China etc. I,ve been tracking the delivery progress all week. It was "pending customs inspection" for about 4 days , and to be honest I was brickin, it. You just don,t know how charges are gonna go. But this morning I looked at the tracking and it says "In transit" Now, I,m in Belfast, and I,m assuming the fairings were initially dropped off at some depot in England for inspecton by Customs, but it looks like they,re on their way (hope over expectation maybe).Should I still be expecting a call to relieve me of more of my hard earned cash? I know a lot of ,Bladers have got these now , and was just looking to tap in to their experience of this process. Cheers all.

you will usually get a letter from customs/royal mail telling you that you need to make a payment of xamount before they will be delivered,so if it says they are on the way then mayve there are no extra fee's?

Paul Bus Driver had some nice Chinese fairings delivered to Ireland for his 2013 Repsol and the paint job he's had done on them is ACE!

I could even be converted from me HRC paint!

Mine took 4 weeks to arrive when I ordered them and I received a letter from parcel force with the charges of £43. Quick phonecall and paid over the phone with my card and 2 days later the big box arrived :D

Hi all. Received the fairing kit yesterday. £27.31 to release it from HMRC, which I thought was reasonable in the circumstances. It looks stunning TBH, but alas on close inspection, one of the screw housings on the tank cowl had been broken off, and there,s a gouge in the side panel the width of flat head screwdriver and its into the plastic. Gutted. I contacted MFS MOTORCYCLE FAIRINGS .COM with photos , but they came back and said they needed clearer images. WTF! So I did that, and now await a response tomorrow. Really don,t want to be packing this stuff to go on its travels again. So we,ll see how this goes.
