fairing removal

    Hi any one had problems in removing there fairings never done it before ended up with the air duct and two pipes still attached. All to change the clutch cable .does any one know an easier way so just the fairing comes off in future cheers tony

    Hi sam thanks for the post mate massive help .I did 90% of what was in the post but had to leave the fairing attached as I saw the two pipes but wasn't sure about disconnecting them etc I've now saved the link for future reference thanks again tony

    is the 2006 model as much of a bastard job as this thread says the 08 is? can't say I'm looking forward to having a go...

    Took me a while as I didn't want to break any thing now I know how to do it hopefully won't be as long

    I found the fairings on my 1000rr a pain in the neck to get on and off had a bit of bother with some
    Of the bolts just spinning and not coming out and had to try hold the inside playing bits that come
    Off the frame. I find my 750 gsxr fairing a mile easier to get on and off.
