After selling my ZX6R yesterday i needed to change my insurance over to the Blade, or so i thought... The beggers wouldnt insure it, leaving me to cancel the policy 6 months in and start again. Not only that but they wanted a £50 admin charge to cancel the policy so i could use my NCB on another policy (fortunately however this was offset by the rebate). So i did a compareTheMarket.com search which came up with eBike @ £174 TPF&T with legal cover thrown in and £0 excess. Very happy 37 year old with only 2 years no claims, and now i dont always renew at xmas time
when i had my zx12r insured with bennetts and changed to my first blade mid year they wouldnt insure me either ( at any price) so i had to do a similar thing to you. when quizzed why they wouldnt insure it the guy said " because its a fireblade sir! my reply was i,ve been on a zx12 for 3 years which is not exactly slow!!" won,t be going back there again!!
