My Nephew has just bought a new Daytona 675.
He got a lot of goodies thrown in to the deal, amongst which included a Triumph quick shifter.
The guy at the shop has told him he can do clutch less down-shifts as well as up-shifts!
I could be incorrect, but I believe this to be BS!
What is your take on this Arthur.
I have told my Nephew I believe this to be wrong and don't do it, but i think he believes the guy in the shop.
I can see a knackered gearbox looming or a big rear wheel lock up at least.

Mmmm, well if the ECU supports throttle blip when you down shift like the HRC ECU and HM shifter can then yes it would, if it does NOT blip the throttle when you down shift then he's talking tosh... I can check what 675 gear supports throttle blip if you wanted. :) get it on a stand pull the clutch in and down shift while holding it at around 4-5k keep the clutch in and see if it blips the throttle by its self..
