    Decent. Way better than stock.

Not ktech or ohlins.... But not same price either.

    Robin rates his.

Nitron are on par with Maxton by all accounts

That Nitron shock deal at £329 is for the Sports Road version not the Track/Race version YT will be needing, budget around £680 for that one.

Might not necessarily need the full race one - anything better than stock one and all about budgets and priority mate...

Racing lark ain't cheap... No folk that do 1st season on stock suspension.

Edit - I know folk that do

I did my first season (this year) on the zx7r with stock 2004 zx10r suspension, luckily I can set a bike up fairly well so I didn't struggle as much as some but even then after 6 laps the shock is finished!

What you need is to look at reviews, the nitron stuff is ok, but unless your joe average in size its a ball ache to set up, even when re sprung.

Probably going to go with Maxton front & rear on my Tracker over winter as they are on my doorstep and I can just trailer the bike over there, let em fit it and set it up for my weight etc and trailer away again ready for next season.

Don't mind fitting the rear but don't fancy doing the cartridge kit etc.

If you talk to the guys at Nitron they claim the race to be better than an off the shelf Ohlins

I think his name is Scott 01993 849449 ..... I am extremely happy with mine , esp now it has the
RCS Titanium spring on it .

And I have spare springs (4 I think) and the remote preload I don't use .

As you say Jimbo, I rate my Nitron Pro Race. Great bit of kit for sure. I did the first half of the year on stock suspension on my first R6 and my only advice is DON"T DO IT!!! If I was changing one thing to go racing, it would be suspension. It is what keeps your bike upright and therefore worth its weight in gold.

Definitely the next thing on my wish list, bikes just touching 20k and the suspension is starting to feel a little tired. As for the 929, definately need to sort something on that.

Thanks for the feedback, sounds like it's definitely worth a look
