Just replaced the standard size rear indicators, to micro ones, but flash rate now twice as quick as normal, assume I need some sort of relay to slow flash rate down, what do I need and where does it go.

    Thanks

You need an in line resister mate, be careful where you put the though, they can get hot?

If you've got the 04-07 blade then you need to change the relay (which is between the headlights and a bit of a PITA to get to)

I fitted two of those small gold heat sink resistors. Fastened them to the metal seat catch plate to help dissipate the heat.

Usually a flash relay that is required but if you order one make sure it has the correct number of pins for the connector, sometimes they can be the wrong connector fit.

this, although a relay is easier(but more expensive) to sort the issue.

also be careful with the resistor route, some can get real hot if you
have the flashers on too long which can melt nearby stuff as I found
with some gold heatsink style ones I got on ebay.
I went the relay route with this bike using this unit
