A87 (aka the Supersonic highway) to Portree on Skye - get it in right weather with no traffic and its epic - just incredible
Love the b500 but is quite short and can get busy, some of the roads north of there are better IMO, they are just as good but dead quiet.... A48 landau to Bad kreuzbach was one of the highlights of this years trip and we never heard of it before. Blew us away Napoleon is epic, it's a whole day of bliss... The roads in Scotland on skye and west coast are incredible and the scenery is immense. Also love the a39 minehead to lands end. Done the dolomites this year which was stunning but could get bumpy and miles after miles of hairpins which made a hard day of it.... But the best road I've ridden (technically still a public one) is the ring can't beat it...
A1133 Newark to near Gainsborough. Not a scenic road, but one of those really fast A roads that gets your heart pumping, with lots of visibility around long sweeping bends.
yup anywhere is county kerry then follow the coast up the west towards galway, west is best when it comes to roads. do the three rings of kerry, one of the rings is the dingle peninsula. nice ride and also you can go pet the local dolphin that lives in the harbour. if coming in from a port near cork then head to kinsale then follow the coast to bantry bay (best Guinness in Ireland here) then the glengarriff to killarney road is a very scenic must ride road, if you get the chance stay in Killarney for the night as the craic is great at night in the bars.
here is the roads marked ....but the glengarriff to killarney is a must https://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?m...=1.159568,3.56781&iwloc=0004c78ac88d868ff5465 these are all pics from the one road...was a bit wet but still great
