    Just a quick question

Off to spain in a few weeks with FE and just wanted to see if anyone else had some mediocre dealings with FE, 2 they were going to call me back but never did, after filling in and returning the euro trip papers where it states bikes are insured up to £12K, another guy reciever eurotrip papers V02 stating bikes are only insured up to £5K, really WTF, communication really isn't there strongest point is it.... Mails are crap, on the phone there crap

we were told pick up is antwerp, around the corner for some, the we get the info pack and it says, holland Rotterdam, WTF, then it says between 6 and 8pm, right bang in the traffic, then they say, no thats for the dutch people you guys are in gent, bloody hell guys make up your mind..... they've got 2 reps working in belgium and holland that are bloody hopeless, nice guys, but hopeless, everything you ask them the need to call the UK as they have no idea themselves......
Trying to book was just a bloody nightmare, but that's another story :D :D

Pity that NL don't do cheap euro trips, but like they say, you pay peanuts, you get monekys ;)

just wanted to see if anyone else had any weird dealings with them really.....

I know that the riding will be great, but it's just a shame that it's so much bloody hard work to get it sorted

I must admit......that having booked many track days with FE I have had mixed views on customer service and once made comments on how shit they make YOU feel when quiet clearly they make some cock ups..........my first euro (Almeria 2012) all seemed very vague initially.....but it all comes together in the end...... and with having such a great time (we went again Dec 2013)....you soon forget about customer service issues....my only gripe is although great value packages are advertised......they don't mention about compulsory track insurance.....another £50 ish......plus you will incur travel costs to hotel and from hotel to track (Well especially for Almeria).......so book with some pals and this can always be reduced.....

I look at them now as Ryanair, cheap as chips, but they don't tell you all the hidden costs. We're with 5 of us so if it ain't that good then we'll drink the hotel bar empty and sleep all day :D :D

what I have heard is that the give you a riders briefing every day, got to be joking, every day, come one, surely once is enough, We're not in primary school anymore, If I want a lie in then I will have a lie in and SP can go and crap himself ;)

The briefings might sound tedious........but with Steve Plater and Co......giving them its only ten min s of essential reminders...... but Health and Safety rules are rules and should anything happen....they would well be in the shit by not following procedures.

So that's what you prepare your bike for in the winter.. For getting it trashed in a truck :) after seeing this, I'm not unhappy that the event was fully book when I tried to register :)

Yes, they ought to take a leaf outa No Limits Transport Dept'!

Peeps who 'Cough' for overseas Track Days tend to worship their Bikes, and hence expect this as a minimum!

stillages are by far a better idea, but thwy can be a bit of a struggle to get everything on,it's not ususally a prob if your with a mate as you can just pile everything in,but not everyones keen on doing that.

i'm lucky, mine gets transported by other means and can pretty much take what i want :)

Just booked a FE day - and as somebody wrote, your bike is insured to a value of £5,000 while in transit
