OK I've never had a issue with a dead battery in the past 7 months. I do mostly put it on a batt conditioner before going out but thought I would not have to

Was going out today put the key in the ignishion and nothing not a light or anything :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

I have no alarm or anything just the HISS which only lights up for the first 24 hours

Looks like i have the same issue as others :frusty::frusty::frusty:

Hmm, should be OK after 4 weeks - my Blade is.

I used to have to keep my Gixer on a charger all the time, as it had an earth fault that no one could find. The battery would be flat after 4 days. in 2 years, I killed 6 batteries.

Never had a problem with my Gixer in 3 years and my mate has had no problem with it in the year that he's had it. I know because he keeps it in my garage lol. Tbh, I think it's just down to luck of the draw mate. Now I've got my fingers crossed!

I think the abs model was draining batteries but was fixed with an ecu update. Rob posted a thread in here about it.

Do you ever hear any electrical noise from near the brakes when the ignition is off? I think that was a symptom.

Heard no nice and bought the bike in late feb but was serviced at JHS in Bristol. Non Honda dealer. So may book it in for the first year service at Honda and tell them about this. Seen the thread on this. Still managed to get out today after having it on the optimate for a few hours
